Black Epoxy Glass Sheet: A High-Performance Insulating Laminate
Black Epoxy Glass Sheet is a rigid, high-strength laminated material manufactured by impregnating glass fiber cloth with epoxy resin and curing it under high heat and pressure. This results in a thermoset composite that offers an outstanding balance of mechanical strength, electrical insulation, and dimensional stability, making it an ideal choice for demanding industrial applications. Typically conforming to NEMA FR-4 or G-10 grades, this sheet is inherently flame-retardant and provides excellent resistance to moisture, chemicals, and thermal shock.
Key properties include high flexural and compressive strength, a high dielectric strength for reliable electrical insulation, and a low water absorption rate that ensures stable performance in humid environments. The material retains its structural integrity at elevated temperatures, with standard grades supporting continuous operation up to approximately 130°C to 170°C.
