G11 Sheet, formally named NEMA G-11 Glass Epoxy Laminate Sheet, is a high-performance thermoset industrial composite made by hot-pressing woven fiberglass fabric impregnated with high-temperature resistant epoxy resin.
Core Properties
It features excellent mechanical and dielectric properties, maintaining stable high mechanical performance even under high temperature and high humidity conditions.
Its insulation class is Class H, with a long-term normal operating temperature of 155℃ and a maximum heat resistance up to 180℃.
The typical density ranges from 1.8 to 2.05 g/cm³, and the 24-hour water absorption rate is as low as 0.09% to 0.2%.
It has good processability, supporting operations like stamping, cutting and CNC forming.
Main Applications
It is widely used as heat-resistant insulating structural parts for electrical equipment such as circuit breakers, switchgears, transformers, DC motors, AC contactors, explosion-proof electrical appliances, electric furnaces and electric melting furnaces. It is also suitable for making structural support components, bus clamp plates, signal plates, partitions, lining plates, terminal plates and interphase insulation parts for various switchgears.
