The 3240 Epoxy Sheet is a high-performance glass cloth–reinforced thermoset laminate, manufactured by impregnating alkali-free E-glass fabric with epoxy resin and curing under heat and pressure. It offers an excellent balance of mechanical strength and electrical insulation, making it a trusted choice across the electrical, electronic, and mechanical industries.
Key features include high flexural and tensile strength (≥340 MPa), low water absorption (≤0.15%), and a thermal class of B (130°C continuous operation). The sheet also provides outstanding dielectric strength (up to 14.2 kV/mm in oil), good dimensional stability, and flame retardancy (UL94 V-0 or HB).
Available in thicknesses from 0.2 mm to 200 mm and in standard sheet sizes such as 1020×1220 mm or 1220×2440 mm, the 3240 Epoxy Sheet is easily machinable (cutting, drilling, milling) into custom parts like insulating spacers, washers, switchgear components, transformer insulation, and PCB test fixtures. It conforms to GB/T 1303.1-1998 and is equivalent to IEC EPGC201.
