The FR4 Fiberglass Sheet is a high-performance epoxy glass-fabric-reinforced laminate widely recognized for its superior electrical insulation, mechanical strength, and flame retardancy. Made from woven E-glass cloth impregnated with flame-retardant epoxy resin and cured under high temperature and pressure, FR4 is rated UL94 V 0 and offers excellent dielectric strength (≥20 kV/mm in thicknesses), high flexural strength (≥400 MPa), and low moisture absorption (≤0.10%). It exhibits outstanding dimensional stability and can operate continuously at temperatures up to 130–140°C (Class B/F, depending on grade). FR4 sheets are available in thicknesses from 0.1 mm to 100 mm and standard sizes such as 1020×1220 mm, 1220×2440 mm, and 1000×2000 mm. The natural color is light yellow-green or water-clear (also available in custom colors). This material is easily machinable (cutting, drilling, milling, punching) and is widely used in printed circuit boards (PCBs), electrical insulation components (spacers, washers, switchgear, transformers), high-voltage barriers, test fixtures, and structural parts for electronics, automotive, aerospace, and industrial equipment. FR4 complies with international standards such as IEC 60893-3-2 (EPGC203) and NEMA Grade FR4, offering a reliable, cost effective solution for demanding electrical and mechanical applications.
