G11 Fiberglass Sheet

G11 fiberglass sheet, also known as NEMA G-11 epoxy glass cloth laminate (compliant with IEC EPGC203, JIS EL-GEH and other international standards), is a high-performance thermoset composite manufactured by hot-pressing alkali-free filament glass cloth impregnated with high-temperature resistant epoxy resin. Its natural color ranges from yellow-green to amber, with customizable thickness from 0.1mm to 200mm and multiple standard sheet sizes available to meet diverse processing needs.

This material stands out for its exceptional all-around performance: it retains over 50% of its mechanical strength even at 150°C, with a flexural strength of no less than 340MPa at room temperature, and maintains excellent dielectric properties, low moisture absorption and stable performance under both dry, humid and transformer oil immersion conditions. It is available in two temperature-resistant classes — Class F for continuous operation up to 155°C and Class H for service up to 180°C, while its flame-retardant variant (FR-5) meets UL94 V-0 rating for enhanced fire safety.

Widely applied as insulating structural components in high-temperature electrical equipment including circuit breakers, switchgears, transformers, AC contactors, explosion-proof electrical appliances and electric melting furnaces, it also serves as high-strength support parts such as bus clamp plates, interphase insulation baffles, stator slot wedges and contact supports, making it the ideal choice for scenarios requiring outstanding heat resistance, mechanical robustness and reliable electrical insulation under harsh working conditions.
